IDENTControl Compact RFID Unit Now with Ethernet Interface

The IDENTControl Compact RFID unit is tailor-made for the needs of the mechanical engineering and tool construction industry. As the name suggests, this innovative RFID system is very compact, robust, and can be flexibly integrated into a wide variety of applications. It supports all common RFID tags with 125 kHz, 250 kHz, 13.56 MHz, 868 MHz and 2.45 GHz.

The frequency modulated 250 kHz read/write head is one of the fastest on the market and can simply filter out electromagnetic interference on individual frequencies.

Many encapsulated data carriers can be flush mounted in metal. Tags with a diameter of only 8 mm and read/write heads with a diameter of only 18 mm save space in every application.

The IDENTControl Compact RFID unit has an encapsulated metal IP67 housing with LED displays and direct connection option for trigger sensors. In addition to the series connection and the version with integrated PROFIBUS gateway, the Ethernet version is also available. This supports numerous different protocols, such as Ethernet IP and PROFINET IO.

The integrated switch enables several devices to be wired into the machine linearly, in a simple and cost-effective way.
